This is a subcommittee Meeting of the Sacramento Region eMobility Collaborative Equity Committee focused on underserved communities that have been historically underrepresented in the Federal Government and underserved by, or subject to discrimination in, Federal policies and programs.

These communities suffer from a combination of economic, health, and environmental burdens. These burdens include poverty, high unemployment, social inequity, air and water pollution, presence of hazardous wastes as well as high incidence of asthma and heart disease. The PEV DAC Subcommittee brings forth project opportunities, evaluated by the PEV Executive committee - consistent with applicable law, to increase coordination, communication, and engagement with community-based organizations.

The Sacramento Region eMobility Collaborative (Sac eMO), formerly the Sacramento Region Plug-in Electric Vehicle Collaborative (SacPEV), is a regional, multi-sector Collaborative of over 100 participants who have been working together since 2015 to increase the deployment of electric vehicles and related infrastructure across the Sacramento Region. Our members are a diverse group of public, private and non-profit organizations working together to provide clean and affordable transportation and mobility alternatives and solutions

What’s eMobility?

e-Mobility refers to electric and zero-emission transportation modes and can also include walking, biking, electric bikes and scooters, electric cars, vans and buses. eMobility Hubs are places in a community that bring people together with public transit, bike and car share and other ways for people to get where they want to go without a private vehicle.” (Note: this could be a good area to have the video I’m a ZEV, by Uptown Studios)
